[Devin's Senior Photoshoot]

So, as you can probably notice, there has been some major slacking going on as far as my blogging goes this year... Oops! :P That is one thing I really haven't been keeping up with because of academics and senior year 'stuff'. The next set of photos are of my friend Devin, who has also been my classmate since middle school.

I love taking pictures of children and families, but I really love to take pictures of my friends and classmates. I almost feel like I shouldn't call it work because its so fun and chill... This shoot with Devin was NO exception. We had lots of laughs, and spent the entire shoot reminiscing about the past few years, and talking about our future college plans.

Let me tell you about Devin. She is one of the hardest workers I've ever met. She participates in volleyball and our school plays. On top of that and school, she has had some of the highest grades in the class throughout high school.

Now that I'm just 2 weeks away from no longer having the label 'high schooler', I'm looking back and seeing all the great memories I have and the friendships that were made. But, if I could go back and change one thing, I would be more motivated with my schoolwork. Up until my junior year, I felt like high school was never going to end, and there were times I had that mind-set, "I'll do better next test, next semester, or next year". WRONG! It does come to an end...and it goes fast! I've been motivated this year more than ever because of this reality. I'm just hoping that my 'new and improved' mind-set sticks through college.

My exciting Christmas Break. :D

This segment is of my life over Christmas break. :D
The first official day of our Christmas break, some of the girls got together and had a cookie baking party.
On Christmas Eve, we went to the Tvardzik's house and spent the evening with most of our relatives.

Christmas morning. This year was pretty interesting...
Michael got a keyboard... but the funny part is that he wanted a computer keyboard and my mom got him this instead. Haha! There were communication issues this christmas. ;)

John got a djembe drum for Christmas.
Sparky lived to see another Christmas! 16 years and counting.

A few days after Christmas, my friends and I started off the fun by going to Cheeburger Cheeburger, and then back to a friends houseTake two. Bowling night. This was a blast.
Jared was the best on the guys team... he is good at everything. the end.


Above photo... Michelle threw a gutter ball, ran DOWN THE LANE, grabbed the ball, and threw it at the pins from approximately SIX FEET away! So funny. :D

Lastly, I hung out with Kim and Michelle for a couple hours before going out with my cousins. I promised Kim a photo shoot back in late spring and we just now got to it! Kimberly is gorgeous.

end Christmas break with a bang, My uncle rented out the ENTIRE bowling alley for MIDNIGHT BOWLING!!! With the neon lights, disco balls, and everything. Those pictures will eventually make their way onto my blog!

Photoshoot with Emily Patton!!!

The day finally came when Emily, Michelle, Corey and I had our photoshoot. The sun was setting fast, and Emily's creative juices were flowing (check her pics out by clicking here), and we had a fun and crazy time racing against the clock. Emily took pictures of me and Michelle, we took pictures of her, and Corey only stuck around long enough to see how weird we girls really are. lol! Here are some of my favs. :D enjoy!
